Walter Sisulu University Residence Application 2023

The University commenced with online learning and students started returning to residences. Those students with conducive learning environments at home are encouraged to continue with online learning at home until 10 days prior to any commencement of contact session. There is a mandatory 10-day self-isolation for all students returning to residences. This will commence from the day they return prior to accessing shared spaces like laboratories and libraries.

For students who must conduct practical or laboratory work as part of their academic are urged to return to their residences to commence with self-isolation prior to contact sessions with lecturers in laboratories/practical venues. Should students opt out of isolating at WSU, a parent must sign the attached declaration and an affidavit. These must be presented by those students who will commence with contact sessions for practical/laboratory work from 16 January 2022.
